T. fera I presume..... looking a bit different due to so much pollen on the thorax, or is this possibly something different? Lots more images if needed.

It's certainly a
Tachina but I am not sure about
fera ... probably not if those front tarsi really are that dark :)

The front tarsi are darker than the legs, but not black, and the angle of light does affect how dark they look (I use daylight, not flash). Not sure they are any darker than in some gallery images of T. fera, but here are a couple more images showing the feet in case it helps them that know what's what tell me if this is T. fera or not!

I'm still assuming this is Tachina fera, even if its front tarsi look a bit dark in some shots, unless anyone is sure it isn't!
