Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tiny fly ID

Tiny fly just under 2mm body length (not including the rear end appendage) taken yesterday on a lawn daisy South coast UK.
Any ideas on ID and is that an ovipositor ?

The fly is a chloropid.
