6-7mm Lancashire England 3 June 2010 on low vegetation near river.

I arrived at Limnophora because it reminded me of Coenosia but had setulae on both sides of the radial node, then L. nigripes seemed the best fit although there are only 3 convincing post-dcs. Have I got it right?

I was diverted from maculosa by the remarks in couplet 4 of the Limnophora females key on p66 of Gregor et al. - the frontal triangle reached the front of the frons and the pre-acrostichals were in 3 rows. But now I see that that's OK in the description of maculosa (though not in the key!), and the dorsal pattern is right. Close, but no cigar :D
