Voria ruralis perhaps? (steeply angled m-cu and down-curved parafacial bristles) :) I can't decide whether it has median discals or not in the photos - Voria doesn't but Athrycia does :)

My pleasure ... we all have common species that are not always easy to identify ... my worst seems to be Lypha dubia. I just got an email from Peter Tschorsnig after he looked through 25 of my "unidentifiable/uncertain" tachinids ... 4 or 5 of which were Lypha dubia! Grrrrr :D Then again, the rest of them were a nice mixture of very rare and unusual things - and I got about 80% of the identifications correct :)
