It is realy a syrphid ?

Need to see wing venation - could it be a stratiomyid? Strats all have a little ring of veins in the middle of the wing :)

Yep, its a Stratiomyiidae, a Chloromyia sp.

Should be Chloromyia formosa, as I think the tarsi are all brownish.

This specimen is now in alcohol, but I catch another specimen today. I will upload some photos later .

Well, it tuned out to have rather clear yellow mid and hind basitarsi after all, so we have a Chloromyia speciosa here. Specimen deposited in the Natural History Museum Maastricht (NHMM).
