Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Phaonia? Or Anthomyiidae? (May-10, 2010) --> Phaonia rufiventris

Hello!

This fly was about the size of a Phaonia subventa, but it looks more like an Anthomyiid, and the orange colour is paler than in Phaonia. I'm a little bit confused... At a hedge near forest this week (northwest Germany).

It should be Phaonia rufiventris.
