Thread subject: Diptera.info :: small black Fannia

Hi,
Here is another small black fly from last weekend. I hope it's no anthomyiid, as the anal vein does not reach the wing margin (if I see right). In any case, I took several photos that might allow for an ID (at least I hope so!).

Female Fannia sp. Typical wing venation is well visible on the first picture of your second series.

Aha, Fannia, so Fanniidae. When shall I learn to discriminate between these little ones? Please stay patient as to my constant questions!
