Take care Roger, we are at Hong Kong !
This is not a Phaonia. It could be a Dichaetomyia or a member of the Mydaeinae sub-family, difficult to tell (for me).

Hi Stephane...WE are at Hong Kong ? How did WE get there? I'm looking out the window and it looks just like back home in Shetland, plus my Passport is out of date :S :D.

:| I was just going on the colour scheme which to me looked very similar. I recently posted a beetle which turned out to be an Australian Spider Beetle, so it seemed feasible to me that a fly might have travelled in the opposite direction. Oh well. you live and learn ( I hope :) )

Regards from Mossbank, Hong Kong, which looks just the same as Mossbank, Shetland Isles.
Damn clever people those Chinese B)
Awestruck...Roger
