Otites, an undescribed new species (Tephritoidea, Ulidiidae: Otitinae), which Elena Kameneva is including to her revision of the genus. We tried to collect it around Thessaloniki, in Skra and Metsovo in 2002, but it was end of May, and too late for this species.

The specimen can be included in the type series and sent back to you or retained at our collection, depending on your choice.

Thanks Valery. I would be happy for it to be included in the type material, but would like it deposited in in the NHM London if that is OK. I will contact Elena tomorrow.

Dear Stephane,

I just checked it under the microscope - it has too breaks - but is one called a humeral break?
