Wow! Very interesting lauxaniid! This is either a new species of Pleurigona or a new species of Xangelina. The genera are only subtly different, but looking at the type of Pleurigona curvinervis (which I have), the wing venation is most similar to this (with the R2+3 shorter and curving up to C, and with the arching distal part of M), and I would lean towards Pleurigona. However, it differs from the one species of Pleurigona in having ocellar setae (absent in P. curvinervis), and I can't tell by the photo whether there is a propleural bristle or not. The only species is only known from the Philippines, but I would not be surprised for the genus to be present in China. Alternatively, it certainly could be Xangelina as well (like I said, the differences are subtle, and I can't see all the characters needed). I could only tell more by seeing the specimen. Do you have a long series (I hope, I hope!).

propleural bristle absent. wing spots and venation are not different from some specimens of Xangelina I have. If possible I will take it and other special specimens to your lab on August
