Only fly seen in the garden this afternoon...size approx. 4mm

Difficult....looks like Delia platura, but it isn't .
This one has 2+2 katepisternals and prealar seems long..but the chaetotaxy of the legs is not well visible, so a bit difficult to say what else it could be.
It seems to have palps broadened, but could also be just shadow.
So i need a good view on the legs and thorax.
And you have only one fly in your garden, you said...so pursue it all day long tomorrow..:D

I had to look several times...but i think it is Lasiomma.
I also see some spares hairs on the eyes (difficult to see, but there are some)
With 2 av on hindtibia it could be L.seminitidum.

I don't have
Lasiomma listed for Shetland, but what else is new.
And yes, there are some hairs on the eyes.....
