Thread subject: Diptera.info :: A Sarcophagidae species

When i read this post

I think that this big fly is also a Sarcophagidae species, perheaps Sarcophaga carnaria a fly very common in my country (NE of France near Metz

Both flies are males of Sarcophaga (Sarcophaga) with 4 post-DC and marginalia on T3, the second visible tergite. Any more detailed identification only possible with genitalic details. Jan Velterop, Enschede NL
