It's very hard to see any detail in those photos - they are so dark. But it looks like a siphoniine ... possibly Peribaea or Actia or something like that, but I'd need to see the side and top views much clearer to be sure :)

Yeah, I did a bit of PhotoShopping on the image here and I just couldn't quite see that pair of pleural hairs, so I wasn't 100% sure. :) With a higher resolution image it might have been possible.

Ahh, not exactly - the bristles that would make it a Peribaea are on the side of the body, behind the head :)

Unfortunately my camera is not very good to get small details... (I have a Panasonic DMC-LS2)..but you will have this specimen;)
