Together with Mr. Antti Haarto we just determined
Graphogaster nigrescens as new for Finland from the south-western archipelago of Finland, Turku (5 specimens in a malaise trap).
So, I'd like to ask if anyone here is acquainted with the species, according to T & H it should be a rarity.
The diagnosis seemed clear, only the prealar was a bit hard to detect in males. And is there a dimorfism, the only female in the series seemed to have a substantially lighter/yellower coloration in squamae (distinctly brownish in males)?
BTW: Should identification inquiries without photos be placed here or in the section "General queries"?
