Hi,
I just wonder if the setae on mid coxa and the shape of hind leg is like they should be if this is
Hydrotaea palaestrica ? Or maybe this is just
dentipes ... July 15.2008 Loviisa, Finland.

Jari, it Hydrotaea of dentipes-group. I'd say dentipes it is.
palaestrica has same long ventral setae on f2 as dentipes,
but frons in paleastrica distinctly wider. Also in palaestrica 2 srtong and long ad on t2.
Strong setae on mid coxa are rarely visible on photo, but when you will find your first palaestrica you will be sure on ID (again after careful examination, because these setae not as easy to find).
Also in dentipes-group size is helpful, from big to small:
similis-dentipes-palaestrica. anxia is unmistakable - blue shining.
