This Platystomatid is from a malaise trap in Townsville, QLD, Australia. It's about 5-6 mm long. Anyone knows the gnus and eventually species?

I would go with
Plagiostenopterina. It is a female and the species
P. aenea Wiedemann, 1891 is most likely, but examination of the specimen would be desirable.

Thank you very much Andrew, I will check it with the publication of Mcalpine:
The Australian Platystomatidae (Diptera, Schizophora) with a revision of five genera.
If it's a different species I'll come back to it.
