Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Muscid Eudasyphora?

Hi,
This was taken yesterday, 7th March near Lincoln UK.
We have two Eudasyphora species,
E. cyanella and
E. cyanicolor. Is it possible to say which this is, assuming I am correct that it is Eudasyphora?

Could well be
Eudasyphora cyanella, but we can't hardly rule out
Dasyphora from these pics.

I don't believe
Dasyphora occurs in Britain and this certainly looks like
Eudasyphora. Greenish rather than blueish, pale anterior spiracle, eyes look like they might be hairy, long anterodorsal on mid tibia all point to
cyanella.

Thank you Stephane and Tim. That is correct, we don't have
Dasyphora here.
Yes Tim, there are small hairs showing on the eyes on another pic I got a couple of minutes later when it returned.
