Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Muscidae, Thricops simplex

Hi,

I was thinking I have a Phaonia female here but .... as radial node is bare, scutellum dark, legs yellow and two pairs of ac. After that nothing seems to fit. It has those long "Phaonia bristles" and eyes are hairy but ...:| August 31. 2009 Helsinki, Finland.

And if you try with Thricops simplex ?

And if I open my eyes and have a look at the coxa of hind legs :D This is a new species for me and really looks differend than the very common T. cunctans. Thricops didn't come to my mind at all. I fact this seems to be a better specimen up here. Only three records after 1999. Thank's Stephane :)
