Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Chloropidae, protrusion on head (copula).

Hi,
This was taken on 13th July 2009 in my garden, near Lincoln UK.
The female was perhaps 2.5mm long but I haven't noted it down, maybe the male just makes her look so big!
Any clues appreciated, this is one I haven't seen before.

This is clearly not a
Cryptonevra, which are mainly black bodied.
I would suggest having a look at
this thread.
