Hi,

Not at all sure of this, I found it dead in a dish of water on 2nd May 2009.

Near Lincoln UK

Approx. 3mm long.

I found this is a parasite of Mason bees, the larva eat the pollen before the bee hatches so it starves. More commonly found in easily found provided nesting tubes, a good reason not to have them.
