Is this a flesh fly? Species ideas? I know probably not the best angle for ID purposes. Photo taken in Golden, Colorado - Denver foothills - July 4th

Certainly. Similar to Wohlfahrtia sp.

I agree. In our universe, this would be Wohlfartia.
