Hi,
I found this fly in big numbers in a cave in Northern France. (date: 2 february 2010)

Big version: http://farm3.stat...7563_o.jpg

It was present in practicaly all the caves we visited.

And just because it is a cool fly, this Leucophenga maculata was also present in the same cave :) :) farm3.static.flickr.com/2623/4329908685_11b575fb54_o.jpg

I guess it will come close to a Heleomyza captiosa. I found it also often in caves

Hi,
H.captiosa it is!

I checked its genitalia with this thread: http://www.diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id=5&thread_id=27392

and it only confirms H. captiosa.

Thanks for the clue,
bye Jonas
