The following pictures are perhaps of another specimen, but I think it is the same species

Pic 5 (perhaps third specimen). It was at the same place (same time) but those tachinidae were difficult to follow, so I'm not sure it is the same specimen.

Thanks, is it possible to go to a group of species ?
What do you look to see if it's a Phryxe male or female ?

proclinate orbital seta --> female

general rule (with exceptions !) in Tachinidae.

So this is a female.

Thanks Theo
So here (in yellow) there are 2 proclinate orbitals ?

As it is a difficult group, does it stay Phryxe sp., or is it possible to go to a group of species ?

Yeap, those are the ones.

It looks like female Ph. vulgaris, but even in collections only male genitalia are really 100 %.
