I want to ask if there is any possibility to ID this fly, from gall Artemisia vulgaris
UTM= XS11, Sudety, Poland

Boucheella artemisiae ? It is present on Artemisa. But gall look different:(

I do not think so, gall look like Lasioptera artemisiae, but I saw never imagines this fly.

Gall resembles Lasioptera artemisiae. The descriptions of this gall is: galls hard, not soft, filled with friable tissue, spindle-like, divided by longitudinal walls, with orange larvae. On Artemisia vulgaris.

There may be 30 larvae inside. In autumn the gall becomes dry, larvae spent winter inside. Gall has only 1 opening laterally.
