Gall resembles Lasioptera artemisiae. The descriptions of this gall is: galls hard, not soft, filled with friable tissue, spindle-like, divided by longitudinal walls, with orange larvae. On Artemisia vulgaris.

There may be 30 larvae inside. In autumn the gall becomes dry, larvae spent winter inside. Gall has only 1 opening laterally.
