I found this male simuliid feeding on flowers of Hedera helix in 18 of October 2008. Does someone have an idea of what genus does it belongs to?
location: Barcelos, Portugal

Simulium is all you will get from me (and from anyone else here I fear) because virtually all species you can expect are placed in that genus. Still, some will treat the subgenera as separate genera but then I will not hazard a guess.
