Tachinidae is the second largest fly family in the neotropics with approximately 3000 named species. Sadly, the taxonomic chaos that has built up over the years means that there are very few people studying that part of the world's fauna and none that I know who are able to offer identifications from photos ... except for the very easy genera (of which there are very few!). It would be very interesting for me to get some specimens from Brazil :D but identifications would be a long way away and a lot of work - possibly years :(
The photo shows a damaged specimen so I think it would be impossible to identify ... even to tribe.
