Thread subject: Diptera.info :: dark male Fannia

on the outside of a greenhouse.
First i thought of Anthomyiidae, but it seems to have the typical vein-sc of Fanniidae. Is it possible to identify on specieslevel?

Some Fannia species have a bump on ventral site on tibia 2, and maybe it is hidden on your photo.....
(see photo of Fannia manicata)
I'm only familiar with the most common species, so with absent of important details, it will be difficult for me..:(
