I observed this fly in late April in an oak forest in NE Hungary. Is this an odd Lonchaeid? Or maybe a Milichiid fly?

Milichiidae. Ask Irina Brake.

It looks like a Milichia male, probably Milichia ludens, same as http://www.dipter...ost_122272. However, in Hungary there is a similar species, Milichia pseudoludens, which is also a possibility.
