Is it possible to determine it?

no, Ingrid. It is possible to ID till species, very probably. Stephane, javanerkelens or Nikita will tell you more.

Welcom back Jorge!

Bit difficult fly, the sc looks more to Azelia/Hydrotaea, but....I think, Fannia armata male.
I'm not sure, .. Stephane may know for sure
(and Nikita is to buzy with elephant dung, just to many interesting flies to collect:D)

You are right Joke, it is a male Fannia sp. (we can see the typical A2 and A1 vein configuration on the left wing). That's all I can say though.

arrgh... i overlooked the wing venation specially in the anal veins. Put a sticky note: check always those veins! But this is really very misleading.
