I'm a veterinarian working with a project on cow associated flies. I'm trying to find someone who's rearing
Musca autumnalis and/or
Haematobosca stimulans and/or
Hydrotea irritans for studies in the lab. Does anyone have any leads?

I am rearing Muscidae, I will start with Musca autumnalis in next season. I didn't think about Haematobosca but why not :D What kind of information do you need?

I would like to procure specimens that I can keep in the lab for olfactory studies. Where will you get the M autumnalis for rearing when you're starting next season? Will you catch them in the wild or get them from someone?

I will catch all flies in the wild and on farm of my father. I have no idea from who I could get this species. I think the easiest way is to go to some farm, specially pastures and catch there species which you need. I could send some of them to you, but I don't know if flies will survive trip to Uppsala...
