Hi all,
Could this be Norellisoma species?
It was caught 20 june, 2009 in Belgium.
And another question.. which literature can be used for this family?
Thanks in advance,
bye, Jonas

Yes, it seems to be a
Norellisoma (two rows of spines on fore tibia haven't it ?).
There is a good illustrated key here :

There is a good illustrated key here :
http://www.dipter...20v3_1.pdf Believe it or not, I have an old photo copy of Test key 2 dated March 1989 which I still use on occasion when I am at home. The Lindner key is at the office. The original of that one was printed on a dot matrix printer...

This is Tony Irwin who gave me the link to this key
here. Thanks to him. ;)
Such a good key makes the study of the Scathophagidae more interesting.
I suppose the v2 was not so illustrated...
