Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Green bottle fly from Turkey

Pinara, SW Turkey alt 350 m. Archeological site, some big trees near small stream, rocky with low vegetation away from that stream. Half June this year.
One of the similar-looking green flies. Based on M1, I'ld say its Calliphoridae. However, not Lucilia in view of lacking bristles on thorax.
Suggestions welcome!

Chrysomyia!
The black hind margins on tergites are distinctive for the genus (at least, in the Western Palaearctic)
Well spotted, Cor. Probably common in Turkey.

Can't even imagine where one could pick up such a bad habit, certainly not from anyone on this site. When I was young, many many years ago, any such.....
