All the Pollenia in the gallery seem much hairier on the thorax and much less hairy on the eyes.:)

Ok - there are a lot of species in Europe 31, and 11 known from Greece and most are not in the gallery - can it be determined?;)

How about Dasyphora (Muscidae)? The M vein bend is not sharp enough for Calliphoridae.

Well spotted, it is indeed Dasyphora : male Dasyphora albofasciata to be more precise.
