...and this Tachinid has apparently transparent wings? Unfortunately I could only shoot one picture of it.

Correct. The other
Eriothrix should look different (haven't seen any, though). In the North as well as in the Alps there is a superficially really similar looking rare species
Minthodes picta, but that has yellow legs and bare eyes (see gallery).

Yes, the other
Eriothrix we have here (
prolixa) is smaller and browner/greyer without the bold red side patches and no petiole. :)
