4 post DC, tegula reddish as the basicosta, 3rd antennal segment narrower than femur 1, cheeks with at least 6 hairs below the frontal bristles (reaching down the middle of the cheeks), tergite 2 with 2 dorsal marginal bristles------->female of
Siphona geniculata ?
I've read in Tschorsnig that this species may be seen from May to end October, but I've seen it much later (19-11-2009,Belgium,Aywaille) foraging on
Senecio inaequidens.

S. geniculata would fit. Also by far the most common
Siphona in late summer/autumn.

Yes, this is geniculata beyond reasonable doubt.
