Germany, Saxony, Chemnitz, beginning of September 2009.
Unfortunately, the fly did not allow more pictures.
Is ID possible?

Hi Marion,
The pics are from two different flies. The first one is a male
Linnaemyia sp. and the second a male
Exorista sp.

Yes, please take care, it is difficult as it is
The Linnaemyia is in the picta-complex
The Exorista seems to have a dark scutellum, so rustica-complex

Sorry for the mistake. I was lucky to find a second picture taken only a few seconds before the first one and lost the critical view for details.
