Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Coenosia > C. agromyzina (ID N. Vikhrev)

3.2mm, Clitheroe UK, Sept 26.
I really wanted this to be Coenosia atra, but it doesn't seem black enough or shiny enough compared with the other pictures in the Forum. Is it even Coenosia?

Correct, Coenosia, not atra.
It is C. agromyzina, female

Thank you Nikita, that's two identified Coenosias from the same day, and I had tigrina too, so that's three! Perhaps I should try my luck with another :)
