Hello,
I see this fly on 17 IV 2005 on globularia flowers
Carros (06) France
about 5 or 6mm
Is it possible to determine it ?

Without the wings clearly visible, it is impossible to give even the genus.
Where you live, many Bombylius, Systoechus etc. species live, that can only be identified using collected material and 10-20 time magnification. With a good photo of the wing, the genus can be set.
