Hi all,
Can anyone ID this little fly with the long legs and wings? About 10mm. Taken today in South East Queensland. All help appreciated.

Family is Bombyliidae. Compare http://www.dipter...d_id=18790. David Gibbs might say more.

Thraxan, might be luteus but probably a closely related species

Thanks David, I had a look at the one on Cor Z's site and the abdominal markings don't quite match so probably is a related species as you say.
