Hi guys,
Found this stunning fly on the wheel of my car in the carport. It is about 20mm long. It is really a beautiful fly and I hope someone can ID it for me.

Well I would start with Tachinidae, but I wouldn't go any further myself, knowing nothing of Aussie flies.
