Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Syrphidae or not?

Hi,

I took this fly in Louvain-la-neuve (close to the lake), the 13th of September 2009.
That's the first time I see it.
For the moment, I have no clear idea of its family.
Can you help me?

Muscidae Stomoxys calcitrans maybe.

Yes, i think it isn't Syrphidae
