Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Muscidae, Phaonia? (08.09.09) --> P. valida

Hello!

This one was bigger than P. tuguriorum, but smaller than P. valida (both also present in our garden this week), about 9-10 mm. Near fruit bait, northwest Germany.

Female Phaonia valida (M1+2 slightly curved upward apically).

Thanks, Stephane! Then it was a valida smaller than a (usual) valida... B)
