Today, on sandy ground Warsaw very active near the burrows of solitary wasps , some smaller then house fly

Nice try. But Macronychia has stembreeding wasps as a host.

This is a female of Metopia caught in action.

my pictures illustrate two probable tacticts of oviposituion (larviposition) of this fly. First, putting its abdomen into the hole, second , inspecting the hole (here by chance in the presence of the wasp that made the fly to withdraw ) ..just impressions from my short visit

most probably Bembecinus tridens (Crabronidae)
