Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tachinid ID?

I'd be interested to know the identity of this large & impressive tachinid. Several at Borth Bog, (Cors Fochno), Ceredigion, Wales. 7.9.09.

Welcome to the forum :) Your photo isn't displaying so just remember that all uploads must not have spaces in the filename; must be <=190KB in size; and be no more than 640pixels in dimension :)
