A very tiny fly i shot..location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

body length about 3 - 4mm...

Hybotidae: Hybotinae. I am not familiar with all genera in that group. The most common genera are Hybos, Euhybos, Syneches and Syndyas but I don't have the info on how to separate them. I don't think it is Syndyas. It appears as if the wings are maculated and in Europe that would mean Syneches, but the 'official' character for separation is in wing venation and that isn't visible. Perhaps igor can tell you immediately as he has a better knowledge of the Oriental fauna.
