Hello everyone,

I found this small fly the 02.06.09 in Echternach, Luxembourg on sabulous field at the edge of the Sauer.
The fly was about 5mm long.

Is it Scarcophagidae of the genus Amobia?

Many regards and thanks beforehand,
Svenja Christian

Welcome to the forum Svenja - the photo isn't showing - just remember that photos must not have spaces in the filename; must be <190KB; and dimensions <=640pixels in any dimension :)

Hello Chris,

thank you for your answer.

of course I forgot to take the spaces out of my file name.
Although I knew this...
so I try anew ;)

Svenja

Well, I don't understand why it isn't working...
Everything should be all right.
