Well, here in Ukraine it used to be really a very abundant species until ca. 1983. Since then, I have not collected a single specimen, in spite of intensive collecting; I'd suppose suppression by parasites, but - NO SPECIMENS at all, and the host plant is still a very common weed everywhere. A great enygma!
