Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Leucophora ID?

A fly I'm having trouble with:

The odd shape of the head is throwing me, though I'm assuming this is a Leucophora species?

I forgot to add:

Found in two separate places on 19 March 2009 hanging around Andrena bees as they were nesting.

Found in sandy soil in a mixed woodland around a lake.
