Hello,

is this Rhagio immaculatus? It was about 13mm big and was photographed in July in a moist forest near Düsseldorf.

Thanks,
Michael

I think your ID is correct. Unfortunately it is one of the few Rhagios I never caught, so I cannot compare with my collection. But comparing with the other species and the key... yes. Great, because it is a rather rare species. Can you place it in the gallery?

Hello,

thank you both for your answers. The name is especially funny, because R. maculatus seems to have the same wings.

I saw that there are two rather good pictures of R. immaculatus in the gallery, but I will add it nevertheless.

Greetings,
Michael
