hi flyforum,
Looking at this little Calliphoridae, I was thinking of Calliphora vicina because of the redish gena and the redish first antenal segment.
But the blondish hairs on this fly and the color of the eyes and the total outfit of this fly is more like Pollenia sp...
Are there some specific Pollenia sp. with these kind of redish gena and antenal segments?

Robert: I think the extent of red on the antennae can be useful. I don't think the red on the face helps much - I suspect it varies with age and temperature during the pupal stage and so on. I more or less gave up on Pollenia last year (again!), and have not had access to most of my literature and specimens this year, so I can't really help any more than this.
